Origins
Breton of Polynesian origins as well as Polynesian of Breton origins I am inspired by my home countries.
The countries I have already visited are also highly inspirating for me .
Many different themes nourish my work such as a deep attachment to my ancestors'cultures, a deep consciousness of what it is to be from an island but I am also really fascinated by traditional patterns.
All these themes, as well as the notions of identity and uprooting are central to my work.
I mainly draw with Sennelier colour or Indian ink and use calligraphy nibs.
